I know you guys don't want to see unfinished work and I apologize for that. Inupapa still needs work but I'm moving on to the others just so I can get them done.
I was hoping someone could help me with inumama's dress. I've seen so many kimonos drawn with beautiful but very complicated designs on them. Are they a brush option already created or do you talented and very patient folks draw the designs individually? Can someone give me advice pretty please?
Thank You

What program do you use? Brushes can vary from art program to art program. If you have Photoshop I can help!

I downloaded ( and eventually bought) some brushes from Miss M's Photoshop Brushes website [link]

You can download them for free as long as you link back to her site when you post a drawing using her brushes and not use them for commercial use.

If you want to use them for commercial use you can by the brushes. Which is what I did.

Here are some brushes that make wonderful kimono patterns:

Flowers and Lace
Delicacy
Spring Embroidery

I like to use brushes to make designs on my kimono when I need to. Some of my fave brushes to use are butterflies, sakura blossoms, snowflakes, & leaves. I used to draw the designs by hand, but I find the brushes are sooo much easier to use.

Where can I get these brushes? I think I would love to have the sakura blossoms especially. Are they for adobe or are they compatible with almost all programs?
